An institution shall not enter into an agreement for a course of instruction with a student unless the institution first administers to the student and the student passes a test that establishes the students ability to benefit from the course of instruction . Edu. Code Sec. 94319.2

California law permits students who have failed to pass and ability to benefit test to again take an ability to benefit test at the end of 7 days. The second test would be of a similar mature, but substantially different from the first.

THIS TEST IS DESIGNED TO MEASURE OVERALL ABILITY. Read each question carefully and be sure of what it is asking before you put your answer down on the paper. You will be given ample time to complete the test. Use of a calculator is permitted.
